Healing Isn’t a Destination, It’s a Journey—and You Don’t Have to Walk It Alone.

Your mental health can make the world feel small and suffocating, but I believe you’re capable of breaking through. You don’t have to do it alone—I’m here with you, every step of the way.

Can you answer ‘yes’ to any of these questions?

  • Are you tired of feeling as if you're not living the life you were meant to live?

  • Do you feel lost or stuck in life and not sure why?

  • Have you had enough of the critical voice in your head constantly talking down to you?

  • Are you experiencing frequent bouts of anger that affect relationships and daily life?

  • Are you experiencing loneliness or isolation, finding it difficult to build meaningful relationships?

The reality we are living is a reflection of our inner world.  Let's look within. This is where the adventure begins — but it’s hard to do alone.

Here’s what we’re working toward:

  • Identifying your inner rhythm and core self.

  • Freedom and lightness to be exactly who you are.

  • More confidence to take risks and leaps in your life.

  • Awareness of the way wounds, voices and patterns have shaped you.

  • Awareness of negative coping strategies and how to change them.

I’m Eli Keller

I’m a therapist who guides people in moments when they’re feeling lost. It’s an honor to do this work and help people connect to their true nature.
My speciality is working with men around expression of their authenticity through understanding and developing new relationships with grief, anger and sadness.
I see individuals, couples and family psychotherapy clients in California via telehealth.
I have a Masters in Counseling Psychology from California Institute of Integral Studies and a Registered Associate Marriage and Family Therapist license.

My style is West Coast Compassion meets East Coast Energy

😜 Playful

One of my gifts is bringing a playful energy to something that feels vulnerable! Sometimes laughing a bit at ourselves can bring us deeper.

🧠 Intellectual

Mapping and understanding key insights at a cognitive level can be helpful and important to the process, allowing us to feel safe enough to drop deeper into the material.

🤝 Relational

Building a good relationship is key to therapy. We may learn about relationships outside of therapy by analyzing our therapeutic relationship.

➡️ Direct

I’m not afraid to call someone out when I hear them avoiding their truth or doubting their strengths. I believe getting straight to the truth will save us both time and help us reach your therapy goals.

The Work I Do

Parts Work

We all have many parts that pull us in different directions, leaving us confused and frustrated.  We’ll utilize these parts, creating a dynamic sense of collaboration rather than internal struggle.

Psychodynamic Therapy

We may dive into your history to learn about your present. Using traditional theories, we may uncover memories to create insight. Building trust through in-depth conversation is part of the process.

Dreamwork

Unearthing hidden emotions, fears, and desires is an important process. I utilize dreamwork to enable individuals to foster a greater sense of wholeness and self-understanding.

Somatic Therapy

In a session, somatic work means being able to bounce from mind to heart to body to experience something from different angles. If feeling your body is challenging, I’ll guide you through it.

Ecotherapy

Through the use of metaphor, visualization and guided mindful exercises, I facilitate a reconnection between the individual self and the natural world, cultivating a deeper sense of self-awareness and emotional well-being.

Transpersonal Therapy

We utilize interventions to explore the spiritual and transcendent aspects of the human experience, empowering you to explore their higher potential, transcend ego limitations, and find deeper meaning and purpose.

My Expertise

  • My expertise in working with men stems from years of experience and a deep understanding of the unique challenges and expectations that men often encounter in their lives. I recognize that men may grapple with societal pressures, emotional expression, and complex identity issues. Through a tailored therapeutic approach, I provide a safe and empathetic space where men can explore their concerns, fostering personal growth, and helping them navigate their journeys with confidence and resilience.

  • This work is rooted in a profound understanding of the complexities and nuances that often arise when individuals from diverse backgrounds come together. I appreciate the beauty and challenges that come with navigating differences in traditions, values, and communication styles. Through a culturally sensitive and inclusive therapeutic approach, I help couples in cross-cultural relationships build stronger connections, foster mutual understanding, and navigate the unique dynamics of their partnership with empathy and grace.

  • My work with people experiencing significant life transitions is founded on a deep understanding of the emotional turbulence that accompanies such moments of change. I recognize that life transitions, whether related to career, relationships, or personal growth, can be both exhilarating and challenging. Through a supportive and empathetic therapeutic process, I assist individuals in navigating these shifts, helping them find clarity, resilience, and a renewed sense of purpose as they embark on their next life chapter.

  • I specialize in guiding individuals who are undergoing the profound process of shedding old identities and transitioning into new ones. I understand that this transformation can be both liberating and challenging, often entailing a reevaluation of one's values, beliefs, and life direction. Through a supportive and empathetic therapeutic approach, I assist individuals in exploring their evolving sense of self, helping them navigate the uncertainties of this transitional phase, and ultimately empowering them to embrace their new identities with confidence and authenticity.

  • Working with deep thinking individuals is a rewarding experience, as I appreciate the profound introspection, intellectual curiosity, and complex emotional landscapes that often accompany their thought processes. I understand that deep thinkers may grapple with intense self-reflection, existential questions, and a strong need for meaning in their lives. Through a reflective and contemplative therapeutic approach, I support these individuals in navigating their inner world, helping them harness their deep thinking abilities for personal growth, self-discovery, and a greater sense of purpose.

  • Working as a therapist with individuals who either self-identify or have been labeled with "anger issues" is an area of expertise where I provide non-judgmental and compassionate support. I understand that anger is a natural human emotion and that such a label can carry stigma and misunderstanding. Through a therapeutic approach that focuses on self-awareness, emotional regulation, and effective communication, I assist clients in exploring the root causes of their anger, helping them develop healthier coping mechanisms and transform their relationship with this emotion to lead more balanced and harmonious lives.

  • It is such important work to help individuals who possess a strong inner "manager" voice that often dictates their lives. I understand the complexities and pressures that arise from this internal dialogue, which can lead to feelings of rigidity and perfectionism. Through a therapeutic approach that emphasizes self-compassion and self-awareness, I help clients find a more balanced and adaptive relationship with their inner "manager," allowing them to experience greater flexibility, personal growth, and emotional well-being in their lives.

  • Many of us are creatives, but find themselves struggling to access their inner wellspring of creativity. I understand the unique challenges and frustrations that can accompany creative blocks and self-doubt. Through a therapeutic approach that values self-expression, exploration, and self-acceptance, I support these individuals in dismantling creative barriers, rekindling their artistic spirit, and unlocking their full creative potential, allowing them to embrace their creative journey with confidence and passion.

Individual Therapy

In this work, I walk side-by-side with you along your journey, uncovering the depths and roots of your individual relational patterns, attachment styles, defense mechanisms and other relational means that either restrict your ability to feel and be as your true self, or feel aligned and serve you well.

Cost: $200/ session.

Couples & Family Therapy

Systems such as couples and families can be some of the most complicated and most powerful work there is.  Dynamics are formed and we don't get to take a look at why they formed, what their function is, or what gets lost in translation.  I meet every couple or family where they are and find the best structure to help you reach your healing goals.

Cost: $220/ session.

Groupwork

I recognize the immense power that collective experiences within a group can unleash for personal and collective development. The synergy of diverse perspectives and shared journeys in a group setting often leads to transformative insights and deeper connections among participants.

Cost: $400 for an 8-week group.
